Back in the day almost all the muscle cars were big burly beasts. Galaxies, Fairlanes and Thunderbolts. Motors were 427's, 390's and 428 Interceptors. Back in the day, performance cars were getting smaller and lighter...Pony Cars ruled the track, and the street.

This Crown Victoria Sport pays homage to the Early Muscle cars. I found this car in Michigan. The original owner wanted more power and did some tweaking here and there...plus had a custom chip created and installed.

The Higher-output 4.6L SOHC V8 engine breaths better through a free flowing dual exhaust system ending in stainless tips as seen on the 2003 and 2004 Ford Mach 1 Mustang. The sinister black look is softened by the luxury interior and butter soft seating surfaces.

The factory was kind enough to install full power, leather and even a center console shifter to rest your hand on while cruising.

Everything works together, making this Modern Muscle Car, quite comfortable. Low-profile 17-inch P235/55HR tires on Factory, 5-spoke alloy wheels ride on sport suspension with automatic rear load leveling.

This performance/handling package really kicks the corners. Braking is via 4 wheel disc, and truly bleeds the speed off quickly.

The engine is a 4.6-liter V8 with 235 h.p. (15 more than the base models) and pushes the automatic transmission to new levels of performance.

At a time when the world says small cars, this car proves that the feel and ride of a full size V8 car still has the power that people remember....and want.
